Small projects with personality

A personal annoyance or a good joke can make a better brief than “build me an app”. These projects have a visible finish line. Their authors still chose assets, tested devices and made tradeoffs; the collection does not promise a weekend completion time.

  1. PICK 1

The joke is the interaction: goats eat the note. The author supplied sprites and DNS work. Read the permanent file-loss caveat before copying it.

  2. PICK 2

Player, team and season make the search specific; recent queries and working-folder downloads remove repeated asset-hunting steps.

  3. PICK 3

One HTML file became a nine-track jam room. The author tried it with two browsers and a phone in the same room, rather than claiming a remote performance.

  4. PICK 4

Unavailable native AR changed the design to phone orientation. Real-phone checks then exposed motion mapping, clipping and safe-area problems.

  5. PICK 5

An ESP32 bridge, browser preview and camera feedback ended in a photograph of the printer being printed. Compatibility with other models remains unproven.

  6. PICK 6

The useful product detail is downloadable instructions with materials and tools. A working interface does not verify every piece of generated craft advice.
