How the agent did it

  1. The poster missed photographing a slide at OpenAI Dev Exchange.
  2. He roughly described its subject to his Hermes agent the following day.
  3. Hermes reportedly found another attendee's photo of the slide on X.

@xltheg attended OpenAI Dev Exchange and photographed some of the prompts, concepts and diagrams being presented, but missed a slide he wanted to revisit. The next day he roughly described its subject to his Hermes agent rather than giving it a direct link or an existing image to fetch.

He reports that Hermes found a post on X containing someone else's photo of the exact slide and dropped the JPEG into their Slack chat. The useful sequence is a search from an incomplete description followed by delivery of the matching artifact into the place where he was already communicating with the agent.

The post does not identify the matching X post, reproduce the description he supplied or show the Slack exchange. Its attached photo is a personal photo, not a screenshot of the recovered slide or the delivery. The match and delivery therefore remain the poster's firsthand report.

The live profile checked for this entry describes building towards graduation and does not mention Nous Research or a Nous community role. This is a narrow example of recovering missed event material, not evidence that the agent can reliably identify any slide from memory.
