Use Comet to fill a NotebookLM research notebook

Raghav Mehra tested Comet on the slow first step of a NotebookLM project: collecting useful source links. His newsletter team wanted to understand complaints about ordinary browsers, so he asked the agent to find relevant Reddit discussions and add them to a notebook.

The instructions covered both NotebookLM intake routes. Comet used Add Source to enter URLs, then used Discover to locate related material and added those results too. The agent returned more Reddit threads than requested and included ten additional sources through Discover. Mehra reports that the run took roughly fifteen minutes and required no intervention.

The source includes an adaptable instruction template naming the research topic, source type, desired count and intended learning goal. Mehra distinguishes this exploratory approach from situations where a researcher already has a carefully chosen set of links. The demonstrated result was a populated notebook, rather than independently verified conclusions about every complaint it contained. This was part of a week spent testing Comet against actual newsletter work.
